| Our town is declared an Historical since 1980 preserves a rich and varied heritage in its churches, streets and squares. Its origin, we have security of its existence since 1180. He belonged to the community of Villa de Medina del Campo, it was a land border with the León Kingdom, and so it was fortified. In 1452 , Don Alonso de Fonseca, bishop of Avila and future bishop of Seville, he requested to Prince Henry (future Henry IV), son of John II of Castile, for services and favours to the Crown, the land of Alaejos, Castrejón and Valdefuentes for him and his family and inherit land until 1837. The castle willbe the scene of important events in the fifteenth century, as the Queen Juana of Portugal .She was detained in this castle; she fled to Iscar where John Beltrán de la Cueva was. He was, supposedly father of the daughter the Queen expected, called Juana la Beltraneja. |

| Mis disculpas por los fallos ortográficos en parte debidos a que "mi teclado" no es muy políglota que digamos. Quería tener "un detalle" con EEUU y Francia por ser los países que están a la cabeza (junto con Rusia) de las visitas. |
